Fans de kora, de musique africaine et de musique du monde, après un été rempli de concerts et d'animations musicales, Tidiane Dia Vous présente ses nouveaux projets (artistiques ou musicaux) pour l'année 2009 / 2010.
Tournées, concerts du Mande blues band, prestation en solo... L'année 2010 vibrera au son mélodieux de la kora...
«Tout a commencé par un concert donné aux Rencontres Internationales des Cordes Pincées en 2007 à Tours. Avec ensuite le Festival International du Film d’Amiens : un concert en solo a la maison de la Culture ou j'ai accompagné à la Kora les poèmes de Richard Bohringer et de l'acteur américain Danny Glover, en hommage à Ousmane Sambène. Et un bouquet final en duo avec le grand Maître Ray Lema.
Un an plus tard, j'ai donné plusieurs concerts en solo à Sofia en Bulgarie au Festival International du Film Africain.
Le 30 avril dernier, j'ai joué la premiére partie de Souad Massi aux Arcs à Quéven.
Ces concerts m’ont fait rencontrer un autre public avec lequel j’ai envie de faire plus connaissance !

African music lovers and World music lovers! Following a summer filled with concerts and performances, Tidiane Dia now presents his artistic and music projects for 2009 and 2010. Tours, concerts with the Mande Blues Band and solo performances on the kora will bring the good vibes to 2010.
It all started with a performance at the 2007 International Festival of Plucked Strings, in Tour, France. Followed by the International Film Festival of Amiens, France, where I played kora over poems by French actor Richard Borhinger, and American actor Danny Glover in memory of Senegalese filmmaker Ousmane Sambene. Then there was a great final concert playing together with master Ray Lema.
A year later, I performed for several solo concerts at the International Festival of African films in Sophia, Bulgaria.
